4. The Proposal

He looked me in the eye, reached nervously for my hand, then tentatively slid the antique diamond ring on my third finger.    
“Sophie, will you marry me?” 
“No,” I said, “I won’t.”

  8. Thanks for joining Trifextra Week 2. I like the simplicity of your story. You managed to say the entire story with not very many words at all. "No, I won't." pretty much ends that story, doesn't it? :-) Come back on Monday for the weekday prompt!
