The absence of time was not really an issue for Becky
now.The plane flew away without her on
it.She could go back to the newsstand and
buy her magazine after all.
MOV
***** trifecta, the word is "absence" (33 words)
I missed one plane once and it was for a business meeting in Minneapolis (I didn't react like Becky as I was somewhat of a lunatic trying to come up with what I would tell my client waiting on the other end). I missed one plane for a pleasure trip (a Colorado commuter plane) because I was chatting with a friend over coffee and we didn't hear the announcement. That time it was ok. Love the looking at the bright side of life!!!
There's a freedom that comes with missing a flight. All of a sudden time looks different. Thanks for linking up. Please come on back tomorrow for the new challenge.
What a nice snapshot of life.
